Hello. My name is Gabriela, and I’ve been working as a
professional linguist for over 20 years. I grew up in a multilingual family environment,
which sparked an early interest in languages and cultures. Understanding foreign words and
expressions has always come naturally to me, and this ability fueled my curiosity to explore
other forms of communication and knowledge.

I studied English from a young age and earned my degree in
Translation and Interpreting from Universidad del Salvador in 2003. A few years later, I
decided to learn Brazilian Portuguese—a language I’ve always felt a special connection
with—and went on to specialize as a conference interpreter in that language as
well.

Over the past two decades, I’ve worked as a translator,
reviewer, consultant, and mentor for translation agencies and direct clients across various
countries and industries. This broad experience has allowed me to refine not only my
linguistic skills but also my understanding of the diverse cultural contexts in which
language exchange takes place—a key aspect of truly effective and professional
communication.
